FanCast- Daredevil: Spectrum

FanCast- Daredevil: Spectrum

My Daredevil fan cast for my comic book of the same name (if it were first published, and then made into a film)!

So, a little background. If you haven't read my script for Daredevil: Spectrum, you can find it here: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/SoHelpYouGod/news/?a=63371

A few things to note about the following cast:

1) This takes place with an older Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson. Not too old, but they aren't fresh out of college or law school like they are in my movie scripts.
2) I created the villains of Paul Jorgen/Spectrum and Sphynx. You'll notice a lack of illustration beside them. To know more about their character, I suppose you'll just have to go read the script!
3) Spider-Man is a veteran of the crime-fighting game by this point in time, too, so he's a bit older.

Matt Murdock
Michael C Hall/Lee Pace

Hall isn't the most original choice, but his name gets thrown around a lot because he's just that damn good. Pace might seem relatively new to a lot of people, but he's a fine actor who's managed to hold a plethora of roles on their feet. I'd love to see him take on the horns.

Foggy Nelson
Patton Oswalt

Oswalt's been showing off lately. If you look at his fantastic performance in Young Adult, it's clear why he'd be able to masterfully take over Foggy Nelson.

Paul Jorgen/Spectrum
Colin Firth/John Hawkes/Tim DeKay

Jorgen is an intense villain. A surgeon turned psychopathic spree murdered given the "gift" of manipulating color, he's an incredibly layered character, meaning the actor portraying him must be able to produce a hell of a performance. Few would dare say anything against Colin Firth, John Hawkes' performance as Teardrop in "Winter's Bone" was more than enough for me, and Tim DeKay from HBO'S Carnivale (though you can now check him out on TV show White Collar) really gives Jonesy some depth.

Spider-Man
Justin Chatwin

Now, Parker never shows up in my comics. However, Spider-Man is of greatest importance as he saves Murdock in the opening issue. I've always been a fan of Chatwin and hate knowing he's stuck in awful projects. That being said, as bad as Dragonball Evolution is, Chatwin works with a god-awful script to some pretty fantastic believability. His quips after his battle with the boys at the party are spot-on Spidey-flavored, and so he nabs the role in this fancast.

Sphynx
Dolph Lundgren

Sphynx is a powerhouse. His real-life persona is never really developed, but he shows up and causes some mayhem that really throws Murdock on his back.

Some pretty cool ideas here!

PACE OVER HALL, HALL is just too creepy
for the handsome, heroic, DAREDEVIL/MATT
MURDOCK.

CHATWIN as SPIDEY is not bad!

I could see this, and first time I've thought of Justin Chatwin as Parker.

Can see it!

Hall would be great as DareDevil, but I think Simon Baker would be perfect as DD.

Patton Oswalt is funny and could be good as Foggy but I like Jason Seagel better for the role.

I don't like Chatwin as Spidey.
