FEATURES: What will the title be for Batman 3?

We are expecting the OFFICIAL TITLE for Batman 3 any day now until it goes into production in April 2011-ish and with no title and no casting announcements we fans are slightly worried. We know it is happening but seems to be quite late in the day. So here is a list and hopefully contains the title that Chris/Jonathan Nolan will use!

If its an ending in which he finally becomes the Batman we know and love than I perfer something simple:

i like state of villainy,rise of arkham,and war of gotham. i would love to see joker pulling the string from within arkham asylum and not really showen in the film. he could use the riddler,harley quinne,bane, and poison ivy a lady who is f@##d up in the head and uses poison to kill her victims, and maybe even the mad hatter, and the ventriliquis. i prefer that ivy,harley, and riddler are the main villains that batman has to overcome, and bane being the muscle the others could just be cameos and things like that. anyways hope to see the riddler.

The Dark Knight Returns and Shadow of the Bat would be bad IMO unless the script has to do with those arcs. I dunno what theme Nolan is going for with the titles, but I'd say The Caped Crusader. Or something more subtle.

Dynamo@ That is my conclusion too!:)... The Batman, simple and powerful.

But if i have to choose some other name it would be Batman Legend, The Legend of Batman or The Caped Crusader. (Because its the last of Nolan´s Batman movies. Chris himself has confirmed it.)

World's greatest detective.
I like the whole detective focus on Batman in TDK and BB. This would take this and involve Bats training all over the world only to find Gotham in a terrible state coming back.

I doubt it will have either the words Batman, Dark or Knight/s in the title.

Which makes me believe it will be something to do with Gotham. Especially seeing how Gotham was featured more in TDK.

The Dark Knight was such a great title because it was very relevant to the plot.

It was about Batman becoming darker, sure, but it was also about Batman being the worse of two knights that Gotham had,. It was also a pun on the period the movie was set in being a "dark night" for Gotham, that would come before the dawn.

So in my opinion I couldn't really pick any one without knowing what the movie was about, though I am fond of Gotham and The Batman.

I say The Dark Knight Returns. Have Batman go away for 5 years after being chased by the cpos for murdering Harvey Dent. Or something like that.
