If I did a GREEN HORNET movie or TV series I would make it serious like
the one with Bruce Lee in the 60's.
I was given the idea, by CBM.COM member, Robert Garlen@, to do a fancast
of a GREEN HORNET TV series or movie using actors from BURN NOTICE,
on Cable TV'S USA Channel.
This is it!
Now my idea for a GREEN HORNET movie or TV series is to make GH,
BRITT REID JR., similar to the new comic series started by KEVIN SMITH.
And like the Smith series from DYANAMITE ENTERTAINMENT, a bad guy by
the name of BLACK HORNET kills BRITT REID SR.,
Old KATO comes to BRITT JR. and asks him to take up the mantel of GH
to bring justice for his dad against the BLACK HORNET!
KATO 2 is the first old KATO'S son, I've named him in my story,
TAMOTSU “TOM” KATO.
In the KEVIN SMITH comic it was also old KATO who came to BRITT JR.
to ask him to be the new GH. KATO'S daughter becomes the new Kato. I
don't like a female KATO myself! It just doesn't seem quite right to me!
BLACK HORNET is actually HIROHITO JUUMA, the son of YAKUZA
HEAD, ONI JUUMA, long time enemy of the first GH/BRITT REID SR.
It seems GH-1 somehow caused the death of ONI JUUMA and HIROHITO
is trying to avenge the death of his evil YAKUZA father.
And of course GH-2 & KATO 2 still ride around in BRITT SR.'S car,
BLACK BEAUTY, equipped with dual machine guns that flip up from the
hood and assorted other “goodies” for fighting crime.
In my rendition of the story, former D.A., FRANK SCANLON, who is
BRITT REID SR.'S friend, is now mayor of CENTRAL CITY and his
daughter, KATHLEEN “KATE” SCANLON, is the D.A. She is an honest.
law & order-type District Attorney. But she is not aware that her FATHER
is in the pocket of major crime organizations such as THE YAKUZA, in
order to win his re-election.
KATE is also romantically connected to BRITT REID JR. which leads to
some conflict between her and BRITT JR. later on in the movie.
So it's GREEN HORNET 2 & KATO 2 driving BLACK BEAUTY into
battle against BLACK HORNET, THE YAKUZA, and other Organized
Crime groups.

There have been no Asian guys on BURN NOTICE so I had to go
outside the show for actors who could play the Japanese roles.
WILL YUN LEE is a former champion in Tae-kwon-do, Korean karate,
because his dad is a fifth degree black belt and Tae-kwon-do
instructor. He was In TNT'S WITCH BLADE series, played the bad guy
in the ELEKTRA movie, was the BIONIC WOMAN'S martial arts
instructor on the recent, canceled TV series and played the main bad
guy-thug in the pilot of the new action-packed, “HAWAII 5-0” series.
He's Korean-American.
