X-Men Fancast

wow this is really good. i really like your quicksilver pick. i like ryan reynolds but i prefer seann william scott as deadpool.

Ah, interesting. Someone beat me to an X-Men fancast. Eh, I only cast two actors, but that said, let me see how yours stacks up.

- Paul Bettany would nail the look of Professor X, especially looking at that picture. So, I have no complaints. Except for one, which I'll get to later.
- Sorry, Chris Pine seems more like the jokester type of dude rather than the dead-serious leader. I think he'd be amazing as Iceman, based on that.
- DDD's gonna hammer you over your Wolverine choice being too tall. Also, Steve Bacic already played Hank McCoy in X-Men 2, so he's too late.
- Yeah, I can't disagree with Zoe Saldana.
- I've also considered Bryce as Jean Grey.
- Colossus is a teenager when he starts out. Are you going with the Ultimate incarnation who's older?
- Sarah Chalke is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wrong for Emma Frost. Believe me, you should've went with someone like Tricia Helfer, Charlize Theron, or Tabrett Bethell.
- Zac Efron's an interesting choice for Iceman. I could see it, he has done comedy in 17 Again.
- I'm tired of seeing the same old choices over and over again: Ashley Greene as Rogue, Jamie Bell as Pyro, Tom Felton as Quicksilver (catch 22, I approve of that choice), and Charlize Theron as Domino (I'd sooner see her as Emma Frost).
- I don't know about your Beast pick. Too old. Even if he has the furry sideburns.
- Alex as Angel is a plus!
- You can't have Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, and Kelly Hu reprise their roles in a different X-Men universe.
- If Emma can try speaking in an American accent, she'd be all perfect for Shadowcat.
- I've always thought of Morris Chestnut as Bishop, even though he's not as tall.
- Glad you didn't pick Michael Jai White as Bishop. Tired of seeing him get overcast. Besides, Bishop is 6'6".
- I've thought of Mike Vogel as an older Iceman. But he could pass for Chris Pine's bro.
- I've once thought of Eric Bana as Namor, but what do you think of Sam Witwer? The pic below basically screams the role. Plus he's younger.



- I assume Rhona is playing Psylocke before transformation.
- I hope Ryan gets to play Deadpool, even if the franchise reverts back to Marvel's hands. It could make for good jokes!
- Seems like ManofSteelReturns' pick for Cable is spreading. Liam Neeson apparently has enough juice in his now-60's body. So, thumbs up!
- All right, Christopher Waltz would be tops as Magneto (some people forget that the character was part German). However, Mags is supposed to tower over Professor X. Meanwhile, your choice for X is 6'2", while Waltz is 5'8 1/2". Close, but you're gonna get hammered over this.
- According to a fancast who'll remain unkown, Scarlet Witch has an Eastern European look. As in we need an actress who's not American to best portray her. Mind you, I haven't seen much of Allison Miller's work, but I don't know if she'd be great as Scarlet Witch. Some other picks include Eva Green, Emily Blunt, Katie McGrath, and Noomi Rapace. What do you think?
- After Straw Dogs, Skarsgard would be my pick for Sabretooth too!
- I'll leave Freddie Prinze Jr. alone.
- Kevin Durand already played an X-Men, Blob. Best not to recycle.
- Thumbs up for your Blob pick. I can't see why Jorge wouldn't hit it out of the park.
- I don't care what role Blake Lively gets. Long as it's not Serena van der Woodsen. She was athletic once, get back in the game!
- Jason's the man, I could grant him the road to play Mister Sinister.
- Dominic Purcell = Hercules.

Well, I can't fault this cast too much. Some +'s, some -'s. If you do another one, add the New Mutants, X-23, Jubilee, Rachel Summers, Hellfire Club, and Apocalypse to name a few.

This is one of my favorite casts yet, im lovin your rogue, cyclops and namor but Freddie Prince Jr. is a terrible actor and so is blake lively, but its still really good

Ok for Bettany I didn't mean Too Tall but I really couldn't think of any other reason to change him except maybe hes too young for the rest of your cast.
