These remakes are starting to hit us like a plague! Here is another little news on another horror movie being made. Franck Khalfoun will be the director attached to the remake of Maniac. The script will be wrote by Alexandre Aja and Gregory Levasseur. This was confirmed with the people at Bloody-Disgusting.
There isn't any news on a start date or which cast will be in the film. Hopefully, the project will be canceled. Anyways, Here is the plot below for people (including me) who aren't familiar with the movie. This will probably be like any other remake, a waste of everyone's time.
Synopsis: “A schizoid serial killer randomly stalks and kills various young women in New York, which he sees as revenge for the mistreatment he got while being raised by his own abusive mother.”
