Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are busy guys. Not only are they penning the Deadpool spin-off movie over at Fox, but they're writing the story for Zombieland 2 as well. In a not too surprising development, the two writer's recently talked to Total Film about crafting the movie for a 3D experience:

“We entirely want to write with 3D in mind,” said Wernick. Reese adds: “We want you to be looking down at your popcorn to make sure there isn’t blood in it. There will be lots of fluids flying!”

I'm hesitant about the proliferation of 3D, but Zombieland 2 is actually the kind of film that may benefit from it, and Ruben Fleischer's style practically screams for it. The article also talks about Tallahassee possibly getting a love interest and Abigail Breslin getting more screen time to focus on the adverse effects of growing up in a zombie apocalypse. Zombieland broke the genre mold by letting all of it's survivors, well, survive and I'm interested to see what's next for the fab foursome.

Thanks again to Total Film for the scoop.
