How stiff are copyright laws on the creation of stories using protected characters? Say for instance I wanted to write and publish a Superman web-comic; not for profit, but just for entertainment. Would I have my house and car taken away in a law-suit?
So many of you on this site are better versed in the comic book world than I am. Any thoughts on this? Remember, NOT FOR PROFIT...JUST FOR FUN...BUT I WOULD PUBLISH IT ON THE NET.
