Star Trek Into Darkness was the second and last Trek film to be directed by J.J. Abrams. And even though many die hard trekkies weren't on board with Star Trek '09, they still had to admit it revived interest back into the franchise. But now here we are with Into Darkness, the film that many Trekkie faithtful describe as "a rip-off of Wrath of Khan." Please. We all know that Nemesis was the rip-off. Into Darkness has segments that are recreations of Star Trek II, but its not a beat by beat rip-off.

Into Darkness is a fast paced, energetic, thoroughly engaging space opera that appeases to both non trek fans and trek fans alike, much like its predecessor, even if it isn't quite as good. Full review below:

So what did you think of Into Darkness?
Where does it rank on the list of Trek films for you?

I'm not a huge Comic Book Geek, but the super hero movie genre has always excited me, and always will. I do not enjoy when people argue over CBMs like they're a religion, but i guess thats how most movie geeks are.

oh and if i had to really pic a side,
i mean really really really had to, then
DC, baby :)

but i really don't care about which is best. they both make me happy
