The new Star Wars: The Force Awakens featurette below include interviews with director J.J. Abrams and the cast, including Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Gwendoline Christie and Adam Driver. Talking about shooting key sequences of the movie using IMAX cameras, Abrams said: "That feeling of going to the movies and having a fully immersive, powerful, high-quality presentation of the film is something that is more valuable than ever and I think IMAX stands for that. When you go to see a movie in that format you know you are going to get something that is the best version of going out to the movies." These cameras are the highest-resolution ones in the world, and only in IMAX theatres will these sequences expand vertically to fill the entire screen with breathtaking image quality for a truly immersive experience. There's not long to go now guys...

Starring original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and franchise newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars Episode VII is set to be released on December 18th, 2015.
