Preview images from the NYCC floor provide first looks at some of the action figures from the next wave of Star Wars: The Force Awakens Black Series toys. As well as giving us a much better idea of the full outfit Han Solo will sport in the movie, we can see that there's going to be a lot more to BB-8 than meets the eye.
Like R2-D2, this cute little droid will be able to look after himself with a rotary blade and what appears to be some sort of flamethrower or electric shock.... thing. There's also cool snaps of the likes of General Hux, and Resistance Pilot Ello Asty.
Starring original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and franchise newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to be released on December 18th, 2015.
