No matter what you thought of the movie, we can all agree that their characters' ends were certainly unexpected. Mark Hamill and Andy Serkis, both in seperate interviews, recently discussed their characters' fates in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in The Last Jedi, told BBC of his refusal to believe his character is truly gone as well as his, albeit extremely unlikely,  theory on what he believes actually happened to Luke:

I refuse to believe that he's gone. My theory is he just teleported to somewhere else and left his robe behind. He teleported to a nudist colony, that's what I'm hoping.

A nudist colony; now that would certainly be a shocking way for Episode IX to begin. This only adds to the list of Hamill's opinions on Luke's characterisation in The Last Jedi

Serkis, who played Supreme Leader Snoke, also recently admitted in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he would gladly return as the mysterious villain in an upcoming Star Wars sequel:

It’s a great character, and I’d be keen [to return]. I know it frustrated a lot of people that Snoke came to such a sticky end so quickly, but I loved that big scene and the relationship between Daisy Ridley’s character and Snoke — and where it goes from there and what escalates from that moment, you know the fight that kicks off after that. So I really think it’s great in the movie, but yeah, I could quite happily — I’d be very happy to extend Snoke’s life for sure.

While it's nice knowing Serkis is keen to return, the actor confirmed with SlashFilm that he hadn't been in talks with Episode IX director JJ Abrams about the next entry in the saga, making his return seem unlikely.

Would you like to see more of Snoke in a future Star Wars movie?
