New STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Featurette Focuses On Rey

Disney has just released a new featurette, offering an awesome look at Daisy Ridley's character Rey. Furthermore, we hear Daisy Ridley talk about Rey and how she sees her as a strong woman with her own story. Check the video out after the jump!

Disney has released a new featurette focusing on Daisy Ridley's character Rey. It features footage of the young Jakku-scavenger, and also comments by Ridley that calls Rey ”an amazing character”. Ridley also goes on to confirm that Rey is portrayed as a strong woman. ”I hope that women—and men—all across the world can see something they relate to in Rey, in a strong woman who does her own thing and has her own story”.

 

Thirty years after defeating the Galactic Empire, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and his allies face a new threat from the evil Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and his army of Stormtroopers.


Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters December 18, 2015
