After dominating Christmas weekend and then crossing the $500 million mark globally, Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has now reached a big milestone at the domestic box office. The Star Wars prequel reportedly took in $31.8 million on Monday, officially bringing its total to $318.2 million.

This now puts the film at $573.8 million globally, which while not quite The Force Awakens business, is still a pretty big deal when you take unto account this movie's relatively smaller budget of around $200 million, excluding marketing costs.

There's still not a whole lot in the way of competition out there yet, so expect Rogue One to maintain steady numbers as we head into the new year.

Tell us, how many times have you seen Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in theaters? Do you plan on going again? Sound off below.
