SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY SPOILERS - A Rundown Of All Of The Biggest Reveals And Most Shocking Moments

The last time we saw this fan-favourite character he was falling to his "death" (in two halves, no less) after being bested in a lightsaber dual by Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Phantom Menace, but Maul was confirmed to have survived in The Clone Wars animated series.

Sticking to canon, the former Sith Lord is depicted with a robotic lower half, and seems to have constructed a new dual-bladed lightsaber.
