STAR WARS: Billie Lourd Reveals She Auditioned For Rey In THE FORCE AWAKENS

Appearing as a guest on The Ellen Show to promote her upcoming turn on American Horror Story: Cult, actress Billie Lourd disclosed that J.J. Abrams initially had her read for the part of Rey during her initial audition. How wild do you think the Star Wars fervor have gotten if Carrie Fisher's daughter had actually landed the part?

"JJ Abrams called me to come in for Star Wars because he couldn’t find someone for the lead. He ended up finding Daisy Ridley, who’s an incredible actress - so talented - but I went in and he ended up giving me this tiny role with a couple lines, and I was super excited. Didn't know what was gonna happen, ended up going and fell in love with [acting]."

Since then, Lourd has had guest role on Scream Queens and will reportedly have a larger role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
