THE ART OF STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS To Be Released This December
We all love those "Art Of..." books that Marvel releases, and the good news is that we're now going to get one for Star Wars: The Force Awakens! Hit the jump for details on that, and for a brand new look at Kylo Ren in a stunning painting by artist Doug Chaing!
Well, this a must buy! StarWars.com has today announced plans to release The Art of Star Wars: The Force Awakens this December. Written by Phil Szostak, it apparently, "takes you from the earliest gathering of artists and production designers at Lucasfilm headquarters in San Francisco to the fever pitch of production at Pinewood Studios to the conclusion of postproduction at Industrial Light & Magic." In order to not reveal any spoilers, the book won't hit stores until December 18th, the same day the movie is released in North America. Featuring interviews with the creative team behind the movie, it promises never before seen, "works of art that include production paintings, concept sketches, storyboards, blueprints, and matte paintings."
