Superhero Hype has updated its readers with the current production status of Spider-Man 2. It appears the film is on end-of-summer break. As SHH puts it: "Right now, the production is on hold to give everyone a little break. They will come back in September to shoot the film's finale. Apparently, the set for the climax is so large, that the entire production is on a hiatus until it is built. After that, its on to post-production."

Spider-Man 2 stars Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus. It hits theaters July 4th weekend, 2004.
