SPIDER-MAN PS4 Was (Understandably) The Best-Selling Video Game Of September

Spider-Man was met with an overwhelmingly positive response when it was released last month and now a new report confirms that it dominated the sales charts. Hit the jump for everything we know so far...

Spider-Man was both amazing and spectacular, so you probably won't be shocked to learn that the game ended up outselling every other title released during the month of September. In fact, it received the highest launch month dollar sales for a PlayStation exclusive ever, no easy feat when you think back to the likes of Uncharted 4 and God of War

The game also managed to exceed the sales for previous Spider-Man games by an astonishing 37% and it's said that the game has already become the third best-selling game of 2018.

It will be interesting seeing where Spider-Man lands by the time the year
is over, especially with competition from the likes of Call of Duty and Red Dead Redemption 2. Despite being limited to one console, the game managed to outperform the likes of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, FIFA 19, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider (all of which came out on multiple platforms).

With the first batch of DLC available for the game, Insomniac must be feeling very happy right now and you have to believe that a sequel could already be in development. What did you guys think of Spider-Man? Share your thoughts down below.
