The SPIDER-MAN: MILES MORALES Trailer on PlayStation's YouTube Page Was Copyright Claimed By Gameloft

The Spider-Man: Miles Morales video was taken down by a mobile company named Gameloft, who has had history with the IP. But why? & why does YouTube keep getting worse & worse everyday?

YouTube's terrible copyright system is back at it again!

If you went back to the Spider-Man: Miles Morales trailer again recently (Can't blame you, it's awesome), you'll probably notice that the view count is no longer at 11 million, but now at, 2 million? Huh?

Why is that? Well, there are two major factors:

That, & the fact that YouTube's broken copyright policies allows for pretty much any company to take down any video or channel at their own discretion. Needless to say, Sony is definitely going to be looking into this & getting lawyers involved.

Gameloft is a French mobile game publisher that has developed some Spider-Man games for mobile devices over the years, such as Spider-Man: Total Mayhem, The Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2, both which were impressively open-world, & the now shut-down Spider-Man Unlimited, which was an endless runner/swinger.

This is all most likely another error in YouTube's algorithm, as the video did get reinstated, fortunately. But this is also just more proof that something needs to be done about their copyright system, since people can abuse it & channels big or small could get taken down without cause. Welp, time to get the video back to 11 million views, people!

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is coming to the PS5 holiday 2020.
