Ain’t it Cool News reported that, Warner Bros. Animation’s will now be producing Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, based on the story arc by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuiness.

The film is probably next after Green Lantern: First Flight.

The plot will most likely center on President Lex Luthor making outlaws out of Superman and Batman. His reasoning was that a Kryptonite asteroid was heading for Earth, he claimed that it was their doing.

Hopefully WB will bring the writers Loeb, and McGuiness on board the project as they did with Darwyn Cooke on New Frontier.

I hope this will live up to the comic and be as good as Justice League, The New Frontier. I really like the direction they are taking the animated movies, and I am very excited.
