Titan Publishing has just sent us the cover of issue #9 of the Walking Dead Magazine.  The cover was designed exclusively for the San Diego Comic-Con and will be available to fans who visit the Titan booth during the event later this month (booth #5537).  Only a limited number of copies have been printed, so you better get there quick!

Walking Dead Magazine #9 Cover

About this issue:  Two words: Daryl Dixon! Yes, fan favorite and this issue’s cover star, Norman Reedus is in the house as he talks us through the dramatic and traumatic events of season four, from losing the prison to saying goodbye to old friends and welcoming new arrivals. Elsewhere, we take a special look at those who haven't been so lucky at surviving, including how they snuffed it and why. Comic creator and TV show executive producer Robert Kirkman rounds up what else is going on in The Walking Dead universe, from ‘All Out War – Part 2’ to filming season five and everything inbetween. TWDM #9 is packed with exciting new and exclusive content.

ComicBookMovie.com and Best Little Sites was the brainchild of Nate and a friend way back in 2002. Nate initially focused on the back-end programming and front-end design, but now manages the company and its associated sites as well, with a LOT of help from some very talented contributors.

Nate has loved comics from a very young age and continues to read them on a regular basis thanks to subscriptions to various titles (both Marvel and DC). He also loves movies, as his wife and children will attest. He's not overly critical of movies, so his reviews should be taken with a grain of salt as he's much more interested in being entertained and escaping the "real" world for a couple of hours than finding every conceivable plot-hole and character flaw in a film.

Outside of his guilty "nerdy" pleasures, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, CrossFit, playing guitar, coaching youth sports and MMA (he spent a couple of years in the cage as an NHB fighter, but is now MUCH too old).

Is that really Daryl Dixon on that cover? Did Daryl eventually make his way to the comics? I have only made it through the first two compendiums so I am not 100% up to date.

You know im not a follower of the show, I love the comic though followed it from the start and all but one thing that kinda bothers me is...... There are people out there that confuse the show as the original source, seriously I spoke to this one girl who said they started the comic because of the show..... It was around about this time that I gave her boyfriend a disappointed look and said "That'll be about three fiddy"

@actionmoviefanatix - Their description of the magazine threw me off at first too :o)

The guy on the cover is Negan. He makes the Governor look like a boy scout in the comics... I think the part about Daryl is just related to the content within the magazine.

after reading all the comics, after seeing every season up to date, after feeling
all excited waiting for the next episode/comic...they both excite me, even if the show doesn't go exactly like the comic.
