The show has taught me that I need to put my girlfriend in a storm shelter & lock her up.
Visit her when the "need" arises...is that creepy?
I can never tell.

This is the most interesting show since Lost.

I will say this right now and I am deadly serious: this show is so DUMB. But it is a bit addictive to watch. I think that's the only reason it can be a success. Its pretty much like the walking dead. A dumb story but people are kinda addictive to the genre, which is why those kind of shows are mediocre at best but keep coming and be a success.

It's not that good of a show. TWD, Arrow and Breaking Bad dominate.

I'm so addicted to this show. Definitely a change from all those cartoons...

@ ryan55

not surprising, since LOST was largely lifted from the Dark Tower series.
also written by King.

This show is growing on me. I laughed when I first saw the commercials because I told everyone The Simpsons already covered the whole dome thing. Low and behold, the show goes and mentions that movie last week! I guess they knew there would be comparisons to the idea.

My guess is it's aliens or scientists using this as a way to study what happens to a simple, small, quiet town if it becomes trapped...with a few outsiders.

@ NotU, no it wasn't.

The show is kind of bad. Not just because it isn't as good as the book, but so much of it just doesn't work. It doesn't seem to know what kind of show it wants to be.
