At a recent preview screening of Watchmen at Warner Bros studio, lucky participants were shown a total of 30 minutes of the film. At that time, Snyder assured fans of the classic graphic novel that the material would be respected and not exploited.

"No chance of a sequel or prequel or Watchmen babies or anything like that" according to Snyder.

He also updated the running time, which will be 2 hours and 45 minutes, but mentioned that there would be further editing and that was just an approximation.
