I think they will pull this off really good. I'm old school X-Men & they seem to have kept to the comics story line.
He totally looses his memory from a kid & the death of his girlfried but he always had the claws.
The downside. Gambit looks like a bumblig fool he doesn't look agile at all. Like in Superman he just stands there motionless.
