During an appearance on the Graham Norton Show last night, James McAvoy was asked about shaving his head to play Charles Xavier in X-Men: Apocalypse. Pushed by the host for answers on whether or not there's a "good reason for why he goes bald" or if it's "really dull", the actor said: "He ends up going through something so horrible and painful that he literally half pulls his hair out half… it falls out. I just sh*t myself because I know, Fox Studios who own me might be angry with me for sharing that." Based on the leaked Comic-Con trailer, most of us had assumed this was going to be the case, and Professor X losing his hair likely has something to do with him using Cerebro to try and find Apocalypse, the most powerful mutant on Earth. What do you guys think about this explanation? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the usual place.
