Peter Maximoff aka Quicksilver has become the breakout character of X-Men: Days of Future Past, even overshadowing the main cast of the movie. This is was unexpected for most since Quicksilver’s promotional images did not have a warm reception and Silver Disco was the butt of many jokes for months. Again the audience clapped after this scene that's how enjoyable it was. Definitely a highlight!

He probably modifies things like games and music so that they don't seem so slow for him. Remember when he puts on the headphones and "Time in a Bottle" started playing: in reality that scene couldn't have been more than a split-second long, but the song's implied to be normal speed for him.

now i know it doesnt make sense to apply "real science" to cbms but its a 1970 cpu.. i dont think its processor is that fast for the era..

Seeing that the Apocalypse film will bring both of the X-Men together, it's highly possible we'll see him with his pops and hopefully a cool costume from featuring Mags taste as well.

Quicksilver is the best thing about the movie. It makes me wonder how great this movie would had been without him. I think people are over-estimating the rest of the movie.

Smh @ people trying to already compare QS in both movies when one isn't released yet and won't be known as a mutant or Mag's offspring. The reaching is real.
@knocturnal it is definitely one of the best things, but not the best alone. And I can bet money the people saying that are trolls or studio stans or both. Pathetic really.
@string X-Men was greatly written and executed. QS scene adds to it no doubt, but does not make this movie. An excellent film.

Avengers Quicksilver will be Eastern European, is called Pietro and has his twin Scarlet Witch with him.

X-Men Quicksilver is a mutant and has been hinted at at being Magneto's son.

Regardless of franchise I love Quicksilver and we should all be happy he's getting media exposure. With his popularity in DoFP and the fact he's going to be in the most popular CBM franchise next year you can guarantee that the name Quicksilver will be household by the end next year, and that's all that matters. Not these stupid trolls who are trying to start flame wars.

@DlAMONDZ All we've seen of Marvel's Quicksilver are some set photos and him running around a cell. Wait until you see AOU before deciding that he's the better version.

Though I have to admit after seeing how awesome Fox's Quicksilver was and Aaron Taylor-Johnson's performance in Godzilla my expectations have been lowered a bit.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing more of Evan Peters' Quicksilver in X-Men: Apocalypse and I hope they bring in Scarlet Witch as well.

Fingers crossed that they get Alexandra Daddario to play her.

It was a good scene, but honestly I didn't see how he was the breakout character or why it was so awesome... I think people are hyping it up more because Quicksilver looked shit at first.

Wish we'd seen more actual super speed than just slow-mo.

for the people who say he doesn't look like Quicksilver he was a teenagers & not at his full potential yet! I'm sure marvel's version will be cool too!

@LMB I personally thought that Fassbender as Magneto stole the show. He was spectacular in the role, more so than First Class which is saying something. People hype up the Quicksilver scene but there were plenty of equally great and better scenes than it (every scene with Sentinels).

@BoomTubeB That's literally the only thing stopping me from loving this Quicksilver entirely. He looks nothing like the comic Quicksilver and not just costume wise. If they want to completely win me over they gotta change the hair as well as the 'costume.'

Great movie. I'm still angry "Maleficent" took this out of the #1 spot. Damn you, Jolie.
