Avengers: Doomsday Leaked Merch Designs May Reveal A Surprising Return - Spoilers

Back in January, some supposed Avengers: Doomsday Funko POP prototype designs from Toy Fair found their way online, but were quickly dismissed as AI fakes. However, it looks like they may have been the real deal after all.

A first look at the official Doctor Doom POP has now leaked, and while not identical, there are enough similarities to the previous design that many are now convinced that these prototypes were legit.

Possible spoilers.

Almost all of these characters have now been confirmed to appear in Doomsday, with one exception: Binary.

The Marvels' post-credits scene revealed that Maria Rambeau (Lashana Lynch) had taken the mantle of Binary in the universe where her Earth 616 daughter, Monica (Teyonah Parris), found herself trapped in following her battle with Dar-Benn.

A recent rumor claimed that both Maria and Monica would die in the movie "after thwarting some off-screen incursions," but if she's getting her on Funko, Binary will surely make at least a brief appearance.

“I did know going into the movie. I didn’t know what would happen next,” Lynch said in a recent interview when asked about her potential MCU future after returning in The Marvels. “I don’t know anything, literally. Every single increment of the character has been play-by-play, so I knew about Captain Marvel, then I knew about Doctor Strange, and then I knew about The Marvels. I didn’t even get the script for that, I just had those moments. I know what you know, and that’s it.”

Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars were hit with significant delays last year, with Doomsday now set to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026, and Secret Wars positioned for December 17, 2027.

Both movies will be directed by the Russo brothers, who also make their MCU return after helming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame

"Universes collide and the Multiverse Saga begins its final chapter in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. Beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and ultimately face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered. This epic film will lay the foundation for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe."

Doomsday will star:

Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Florence Pugh as Yelena, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, James Marsden as Cyclops, Channing Tatum as Gambit, and Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent

Along with Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Tenoch Huerta Mejia as Namor, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, and, of course, Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.

This would be great news.

You just cant present Binary with Beast and Monica and in this big event Doomsday tell the fans that didnt happen.

the MCU is a connected universe, so treat your universe and audience with actual respect.

Not to mention that the current cast is just pretty boring and lacks female heroes that would make the film more interesting powerwise and more.
