Check out these Batman Begins pics (below) from the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly that just hit the newsstands. An accompanying article is part of the magazine's annual Summer Movie Preview and features Christian Bale as Batman on the cover. It also previews Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, War of the Worlds and other summer flicks.

- Director Chris Nolan is feeling the pressure to not mess up the Batman franchise (as many argue Joel Schumacher did). After leaving another interview (not with EW), he said the first question he was asked was "The whole greatest American icon of the past 100 years, am I going to f— it all up question."
- The article details the background of Warner Bros.' decision to return Batman to the big screen, saying momentum began building in the late '90s and early '00s with the success of the animated Batman TV shows.
