I thought No Man's land, laughing fish, and gas light were very popular stories? I mean, I'm pretty sure Dark Knight Rises takes inspiration from that story.

I've only read Batman:The Cult & Batman:Gotham By Gaslight. if this list was aimed at younger readers it should of had Batman:The Killing Joke,The Dark Knight Returns,Batman:Year One & Grant Morrison's Batman:Arkham Asylum which I believe featured the scariest looking Joker I have ever seen.

Wasn't your #8 "The Untold Legend of Batman mini-series" a set that came in a cereal box or Drake's snack cakes? I remember the series because it showed that a young Bruce was the 1st version of Robin.

Also, for anyone not yet sold on Matt Wagner's Faces, it does feature the hottest bearded lady you will ever see. So do check that one out. And it's a great book.
