First Official Image Of Jared Leto As 'The Joker' In SUICIDE SQUAD
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of The Joker, Suicide Squad director David Ayer has revealed the first official image of Jared Leto as the character. Covered in tattoos with metal teeth, a purple glove, and a very different kind of smile, this is the Clown Prince of Crime as you've never seen him before...
Well, that looks very different, but also pretty damn awesome! The tattoos are something new, but there's no signs of the scars that some sites reported he would have all over his body. There's one very obvious place he has some markings though, and that's inside his mouth. Those are metal crowns, and I'd be willing to bet that he has them because his teeth were all knocked out by Batman in a previous encounter with the Caped Crusader; he ruined his "smile". It looks like that smile will also be fairly normal (no scars like Heath Ledger or disfigurement like Jack Nicholson), but the inclusion of the purple glove, pale skin, and screen hair are all obviously straight from the comic books.
