Which DC Comics Characters Should Get the CW Treatment?

With the success of Arrow and the buzz surrounding the approaching Flash television show, what other characters deserve a chance in this CW universe?

Arrow has no doubt been a major success on the CW, pulling in some of the network's highest ratings, but who else can succesffully join this universe? Barry Allen has already made an appearence on Arrow and is currently filming its own pilot to hopefully launch the show on air. Who else can the CW plausibly use* to further their television universe?
*I say "plausibly" because WB would not approve a Batman or Superman TV show while the movies are going on*

1) Suicide Squad

The Suicide Suqad is soon tto be featured in Arrow, much to fans' pleasure, but can they hold their own show? I say yes! When you think about it, the Suicide Squad could be a much more interesting version of Agents of SHIELD. Even keeping the Arrow line-up of Bronze Tiger, Deadshot, Shrapnel and (assuming she is the mystery girl from the episod's trailer) Harley Quinn would show great diversity and a really cool dynamic between the characters. Harley's whimsical nature next to Bronze Tiger's sterness next to Deadshot's bloodthirtyness would make for some great interactions. The Suicide Squad would simply be a smart choice on the CW's part.

2) Zatanna

The world's greatest sorceress definitely deserves her own show. First, DC and the CW could introduce her through Arrow pretty easily as they are now trying to expand their world out of the super realistic and into a world with super strength and speed; I don't think magic is too far of a stretch. Also, Zatanna offers some great visuals and, with the right special effects crew, could take on a level of fantasy that the CW has never really reached before. This is 2014, visual effects have come to a point where you can learn quite a bit just through YouTube. Finally, Zatanna offers a pretty hefty rogue gallery with the likes of The Demons Three, Allura, Circe and Enchantress. Zatanna could spark the interest of a lot people who have left Arrow due to its uber-realism.

3) The Question

My final choice for a CW TV show brings back the reality of the universe; The Question. I could perfectly see this show being like CSI meets Sherlock. The Question is one of those underappreciated background characters that shows his genius whenever need be, but the concept behind him is perfect for a television series. Can you imagine a Question vs Equinox season? Or even to stretch it even further Question vs The Court of Owls? There is so much sophistication that would have to go into writing this show, but done right it could be a lot of people's ticket into the DC universe.

There's my list for which characters I would love to see CW shows for. I would like to mention that I love what the production teams for these shows are doing as they hop from one show to another, introducing an already established audience to a character before setting them off on their own. It gives viewers a sneak peek at what could come. Keep up the work on Arrow and give us a great Flash show CW! If you have any other ideas, I would love to hear them in the comments.

I'd personally love to see what they'd do with a live-action TEEN TITANS!

CW has already announced that they are working on a Young Justice, Hourman and an IZOMBIE show.

I don't know about CW but I already wrote an article on this. Funnly enough a lot of my choices are in development now. Young Justice even replaces Runaways so I think that they were actually predictions. Yay me.

I kinda wanna see YJ but I feel they'd take that as there opportunity for another crappy standard CW show. Still would be cool though. If they did TT they ouldnt connect Manu Bennett's Desthstroke to Arrow and that show.

Sorry for advertising but it's incredible how much I got right. Hope that some of the of the other shows are developed eventually cuz they would be great.

About your choises, we're getting Constantine so I think that it would be better to just make her a regular on that show even though it's NBC instead of CW. The shows would most likely be very different but the connection is already there so it's kind of pointless. Suicide Squad is on the brink of being done if you want my opinion. CW is really going for it with the next episode of Arrow and I think that it's partially because they want to introduce the idea and see how people react to it. If any character should get their own show next it's Question. Hannibal, Sherlock, True Detective, WB would be foolish not to get on the wagon of detective shows.

@AnnoDomini Why not both? He would be introduced in Arrow and then get his own series like the Flash. His show would clearly be popular since there are so many sucessful detective shows right now (I would do them in a very different way but the idea of a superhero detective show would still attract people because of the supervillains that would appear).

That Young Justice series was just a rumor, it was never confirmed by either CW or DC. And I have a very hard time seeing them introduce teenage versions of characters when we haven't seen the adult versions yet.

Zatanna could work as a TV show, and I would like to see it (although I will admit that it's partially just to get to see her in her fishnets every week.) I don't see the question working though, especially on CW. Would they actually give him a blank face? Do enough people know the character? (which might be a problem with Zatanna too.) And frankly, a detective show just doesn't mesh with the rest of the CW's tv shows.

I think Cyborg could, and I'm actually excited about the potential Hourman series.

I am not sure if the CW is the right place for Zatanna. We know what they did with her last time on Smallville. But if writers for the CW would do a good job with her I would welcome it. I personally would love to see her and Raven team up. Having those two being the leads of a tv series would be pretty interesting. I really hate how she mostly is just on the teen titans. She would be a perfect candidate for Justice League Dark.

The Question so would work well on tv. It's not even funny how great of a show of his could be.

As for the Suicide Squad I think that would work better for a movie. It already is in the making from rumors that WB wants to make that a movie. So I guess I could be getting my wish.

That all being said not a bad list at all.

@AnnoDomini I still think that a Zatanna show is pointless when you already have a Constantine show even if it's not connected. I don't have anything against the character, it's just that it makes more sense for her to be a supporting character in the other show.
@GliderMan Good point. What I have in mind for the Question would be a bit different but you're right, Flash will already be a crime show.

@SnapperCarr Never thought about it before but if Ant-man is a big success than an Atom series is very likely.

Suicide Squad, Nightwing, The Question or maybe even Justice League Dark?
Those would be some good shows.

HBO has great production and set design but when it comes to the screenplay or the script it becomes sterile and boring. Comic book adaptations are better suited at nbc, amc or the CW.

1. Suicide Squad

2. Birds of Prey (they already have Black Canary and Huntress)

3. Nightwing

4. Azrael (assassins Creed style, with each season telling the story of all the different people who have used the mantle of Azrael, like Michael Lane and Ludovic)

5. The Question

6. Batwoman
