Christian Bale has the look and physique to be Clark Kent and Superman. He also has great acting chops. He looks the most like Christopher Reeves. I know that he is already Batman, but playing two different superheroes is not unheard of.
Also another idea on who should play Superman is actor, Sean Faris. He is a young actor but also has the look. Sean Faris could also play a great Jimmy Olsen.
I think that both Ellen Page and Katie Holmes would play a great Lois Lane. Ellen Page has the sarcastic feel that Lois Lane has and has the look. Katie Holmes has the look.
