Now i've said numerous times that J.K. Simmons' portrayal as JJ Jameson in the Spider-Man trilogy was incredible and perhaps the greatest CBM performance of all time, but i've come to accept the fact that Marc Webb is most likely not gonna have him in the reboot. That being said, I went on a quest to find the perfect actor to do this character justice again.
Meet R. Lee Ermey...
Ermey is actually a retired Marine Corps drill instructor who became an actor. Probably best known as the terrifying Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in Full Metal Jacket, he can also be seen in movies such as Se7en and Saving Silverman. If anyone was born to play this role it's R. Lee Ermey. I mean c'mon!
