With all the cosmic talk about all THE AVENGER'S solo movies and
group films THE STARJAMMERS are rife for a movie of their own!
I've been working on this fancast for a hellish long time and I just
got it finished so I thought it was the perfect time to present it to my
fellow CBM-ers!
Of course Marvel will only be able to make this movie when and if
they ever get the rights back for the X-men franchise! It really
galls me that FOX of all film companies owns the rights! They can't
make an accurate X-men-verse movie if their life depended on it!
I love how the common majority of movie-goers just eat up their
inaccurate swill like it's candy! Even some comic fans have! But I'm
not just a fan, I'm a FAN-ADDICT! I want my X-men movies to
follow a certain level of canon and be accurate with the X-men
timeline! IS THAT ASKING TOO MUCH???
I know they can't follow the timeline perfectly and you do have to
work the story to fit present days but “DADBURNIT” I want
the FIRST CLASS to be the REAL first class! I want Bobby to be
part of the first class not one of the current Xavier Academy Kids,
same goes for ANGEL! IS THAT ASKING TOO MUCH???
Anyway enough of my soapbox!
Now the STARJAMMERS first showed up in X-men volume 1 #104,
written by Chris Claremont with pencils by Dave Cockrum.
CORSAIR (Christopher Summers), HEPZIBAH, RAZA, CH'OD
and his pal on his shoulder, CR'REEE were all political slaves of the
SHI'AR Tyrant Emperor, D'KEN and his SHI'AR Empire, who
were sent to the mines of the planet ALSIBAR.
Ever since Christopher Summers was a boy, he loved the adventures of the
swashbuckling heroes of old novels and movies. Even as a major in the United
States Air Force, he chose the call sign “CORSAIR" in homage to them. Chosen
for the space program, he hoped he would soon travel into space. He got his
wish,but not in the way he would have wanted.
Following a visit to his parents in Anchorage, Alaska, Major Summers was flying
his wife, KATHERINE SUMMERS, and his sons, Scott (CYCLOPS) and Alex (HAVOK),
down the Pacific coast in his private plane when they were attacked by a Shi'ar
starship. Scott and Alex parachuted to safety, but Major Summers and his wife
were teleported aboard the starship and taken back to the Shi'ar thrownworld.
The Major was imprisoned but escaped only to find Emperor D'KEN attempting to
force himself on Katherine. D'Ken murdered Katherine before Summers' eyes and
then sentenced him to the mines of the planet Alsibar.
But when CHRISTOPHER encountered a female feline alien being
beaten by guards he became outraged and attacked the guards.
Two other prisoners, CH'OD and RAZA came to his assistance.
Together they stole a spaceship and escaped. Summers took the name CORSAIR and
named the starship they stole, THE STARJAMMER, thus they're band of
pirates/freedom fighters were named by Summers, “THE STARJAMMERS”!
Eventually they helped to defeat mad D'KEN and restore the exiled Princess
Lilandra to the throne.
Christopher Summers was the first Captain of the STARJAMMER
starship. He eventually was killed by his youngest son and new
emperor of the SHI'AR EMPIRE, VULCAN.
After that a new group of Starjammers were born determined to bring Justice to
Vulcan and return Lilandra to her throne as the true Shi'ar Empress. These
brave souls are truly pirates against a common enemy. With Corsair's second
son, HAVOK, taking his father's mantle accompanied by Corsair's grandaughter,
RACHEL SUMMERS. The Starjammers crew now consists of RAZA, CH'OD, POLARIS,
KORVUS, LILANDRA, and CR'REE.
If I wrote this movie I would keep HEPZIBAH in the crew.

HEPZIBAH was the cat-like feline alien that CORSAIR defended
against the guards, she later became CORSAIR'S lover.
Emilie Ullerup played a cat-like mutant in SANCTUARY on
SYFY with AMANDA TAPPING.

I think GARRETT is perfect to play CYCLOP'S younger brother.
HAVOC (ALEX SUMMERS): GARRETT HEDLUND
HELENA was in IRON MAN 2 and looks like beautiful LORNA
DANE, MAGNETO'S granddaughter with the same powers as he.
POLARIS (LORNA DANE): HELENA MATTSSON
CH'OD, the big reptilian original member of the STARJAMMERS.
I just picture CH'OD with the voice of GOLIATH from GARGOYLES.
CH'OD: CGI + KEITH DAVID (VOICE)
LUCY is older, beautiful and perfect for PRINCESS LILANDRA of
the SH'AR EMPIRE.

RACHEL SUMMERS: KATIE CASSIDY
WITWER would bring the dark brooding SHI'AR KORVUS to life!

CAROL DANVERS (MS.MARVEL) as BINARY became a member of
THE STARJAMMERS for awhile when she was trekking through
space trying to find herself.
I like TABRETT for MS. MARVEL so automatically I like her for
BINARY.
BINARY (CAROL DANVERS): TABRETT BETHELL
KEEYAH was the alien pilot of the STARJAMMER for awhile till he
was killed.
CONNOR TRINNEER was TRIP” on STAR TREK: ENTERRPRISE
and played the evil half human/half WRAITH hybrid on STARGATE:
ATLANTIS. He's very familiar with a space bound character.
KEEYAH: CONNOR TRINNEER
The insectoid alien SIKORSKY was eventually killed.
SIKORSKY: CGI + VOCAL ACTOR (VOICE)
WALDO was the robotic, semi-sentient extension of the Starjammer
starship, it was eventually destroyed.

BAD GUYS:
RICHARD ARMITAGE plays the troubled bad guy very well!
EMPEROR D'KEN (D'KEN NERAMANI): RICHARD ARMITAGE
SASHA ROIZ plays a brutal yet very intelligent character in CAPRICA
on SYFY.
EMPORER VULCAN: SASHA ROIZ
