Perry White-Alec Baldwin(The Getaway)

Alec Baldwin Pictures, Images and Photos

I think Baldwin could give Perry a comedic personality to makle him different from J Jonah Jameson.

Ron Troupe-Phil Morris(Smallville)
Phil Morris as The Martian Manhunter Pictures, Images and Photos

He is a good actor, even though I didn't think he got the Martian Manhuntern right. He looks exactly like the comic book Ron Troupe.

Steve Lombard-Joe Manganiello(True Blood)
Joe Manganiello Pictures, Images and Photos

I think Joe could puill this off. He's already been the bully in "Spider-Man".

Cat Grant-Kristen Bell(Heroes)
Nancy Drew-Kristen Bell Pictures, Images and Photos

Not a major part. She just has to look like Cat but it doesn't hurt that she is a good actress.

Kyle Rayner-Freddie Prince Jr.(24)
Freddie Prince Jr Pictures, Images and Photos

I wanted to put Kyle in here to tie Green Lantern and Superman together. I wanted his role, but not his origin, to be similar to "Superman: The Animated Series."

Next time, I cast...Superman's Allies!

I wouldn't use anyone from SMALLVILLE in the SUPERMAN feature film, its just too confusing and he's an EPIC MANHUNTER on that show, (one of the good things lol).

I can actually see BELL as CAT GRANT, I like that!

But dude, wheres the rest????

At least put a villain or two in your casting and give us meat! : P

GEEZUZ learn to use the space button, its confusing to read lol!

@ LEEE777
That would also work in reverse. I don't think anyone who saw "Superman III" thought of Annette O'Toole as Martha Kent the first time they watched "Smallville". "Smallville"'s coming to an end anyways and there's no one better for Ron Troupe than Morris. I couldn't thik of anyone else from the Daily Planet besides Clark(Brandon Routh), Lois(Zooey Deschanel) and Jimmy(replaced Chris Marquette with Calum Worthy because of looks and personality matches between Jimmy and Lightning Lad) and I already cast them in Part I. As for the villians, I'm going to cast most of them in Part VI(already cast Luthor in Part I[James Marsters] and Zod in Part II[Karl Urban]) If it's too confusing to read, I'll try to edit it.

SuperManFan01 @ Thats a good point of O'Toole buddy, nice one, tho that movie was made in '83 and SMALLVILLE didn't come out till 2000, though I do like RON TROUPE as an actor so I'll go with the flow! ; D

Hellz yes to ROUTHY! ; )

Cool dude, nice EDIT! Btw BALDWIN would be top notch for PERRY, good one!

Joe is one of my picks to BE Superman, not a supporting character. He is one of the few decent actors who has the look and the physical stature to play the role. An imposing physical stature in the red and blue...what a novel idea. :-)

I see nothing confusing about Troupe playing Martian Manhunter. He already is known as a number of fans as being Martian Manhunter, the show is going to be done soon, so just transition him to the big screen part. Not confusing at all to me.

Both of you know that Ron Troupe is a character from "Superman" that should be played by Phil Morris, Smallville's Manhunter, not Troupe playing Manhunter, right?
@ Ranger14
I was considering Joe but I thought he looked a little...I don't know, something about him just isn't Superman.

Sorry...a typo and brain fart when I was typing that.

Joe isn't my ideal pick but he is better than the crappy acting Routh and wimpy boy Cavill! :-P

The main thing that bothers people about Joe's look is the broken nose. That can be fixed up and most of the angles in True Blood that are shot, you don't even notice it.

If they are going to go with a smaller (shorter) Superman then Scott Adkins is the ideal choice. He has the best look of any on the list, in addition to the acting skills, build and he knows how to kick some ass!

I don't see how Routh is a bad actor. Sure, he wasn't as good as he could have been in SR but the script was holding hm back. His actings actually improved quite a bit since than. And do you know how skinny Reeve was before playing Superman? He had to add on 40lbs of muscle. And about Joe. His nose isn't what throws me off. I can barely notice it anyways. It's that he doesn't have the heroic and commanding presence that Reeve and Routh had. He looks a little too caveman-like to play Superman.

Have you seen Chuck? He is the same uninspiring blah actor on that series. The new trailer from Dylan Dawg he looks the same. I was one of those that defended Routh and blamed it on the SR director and script until I saw him in Chuck. That pretty much sealed the deal for me. I had to take back everything I posted here in the past on Routh after seeing more of his acting.

Not everyone can put on muscle like that and I am one who never cared for Reeve's look as Superman. By the third movie he had more of the muscle, but looked pretty wimpy in the first and second film. Reeve's feminine side peeked out a little too much in the role for me back then, but that is me. We don't know if Joe has that heroic and commanding presence as we haven't seen him in the role, but I prefer a macho actor as opposed to a metrosexual-type actor. I certainly don't think Routh had that great of presence. To each their own.
