First photo of Ian McShane as the villian in the upcoming 4th installment of the Pirates franchise

From Comingsoon.net and Pop Sugar, a new photo has surfaced of Ian McShane (Deadwood, Death Race) as the notorious buccaneer Blackbeard in next summers Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Blackbeard is the captain of the Queen Anne's Revenge, the ship Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is forced on by Blackbeard's daughter Angelica (Penelope Cruz) to search for the Fountain of Youth.



You can also see Depp and Cruz in the photo as well

Opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on May 20, 2011 from Walt Disney Pictures, directed by Rob Marshall and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the film also stars Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, Stephen Graham, Yuki Matsuzaki and Gemma Ward.
