The Oscar buzz over Mickey Rourke’s turn in The Wrestler left his involvement in Iron Man 2 in doubt, but perhaps we shouldn’t count him out just yet.

After being hassled by the paparazzi—and being way cooler about it than I would have been—Mickey finally gives up a bit of information. When asked if he will be involved in Iron Man 2, Mickey responds, "You bet your ass."

Just what role Mickey would play in the sequel to Jon Favreau's blockbuster Iron Man (2008) is still in doubt, but rumors are circulating that he will play Whiplash, a minor Marvel villain. With filming expected to begin in April, we should know the answer before too long.
