It appears as though Ben Mendelsohn will survive his encounter with Captain Marvel when the movie comes out in March. A fan was able to spot what could be the actor briefly showing up in Avengers Infinity War during the scene where James Rhodey Rhodes is talking to General Ross about where Vision is. If you look closely you can see what appears to be Ben Mendelsohn leaving the meeting mostly trying to hide his face.
