Star Trek 2 Script to Arrive Soon and Filming Begins This Year?

Roberto Orci states that he will be turning in his first draft of the script to Star Trek 2 in 6 weeks or so.

Roberto Orci has posted on his Twitter account that his first draft of the script for the Star Trek sequel should arrive in six weeks, here is his exact quote.

aiming to turn in first full draft of Star Trek in six weeks or so.


Simon Pegg also revealed that he would start working on Star Trek 2 sometime in August this year. You can check out that interview by following this link. That would not give them much time to film and produce this movie since Paramount has a set release date of June 29th 2012.
