A Sinister New Look At 'Kylo Ren' In STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS

Empire has released a new still of Adam Driver as the enigmatic Star Wars: The Force Awakens villain, Kylo Ren, flanked by 2 of his First Order Stormtroopers. The actor also talks a little about the character, stating that he doesn't consider him to be evil.

Here's another look at Kylo Ren to get you even more hyped for his big-screen debut next month. Obviously this dark warrior is a bad guy, but Adam Driver tells Empire that he doesn't see him as evil, and more of a religious fanatic who believes so strongly in his cause that he's prepared to do some pretty terrible things for it. “When they think of their actions as morally justified it makes them dangerous and unpredictable," he explains. "There’s no level they won’t go to to accomplish what they’re after. I never thought of the character as an evil person.”

Why exactly Kylo is so obsessed with Darth Vader and the Sith remains to be seen, but we don't have too long to wait for answers. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be with us on December 18.
