It Seems That MONOPOLY: STAR WARS Will Include Daisy Ridley’s 'Rey' After All

When Hasbro announced that they were developing a Star Wars-themed Monopoly game, fans were all excited until they noticed one thing that changed everything; the exclusion of Daisy Ridley’s character in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rey. Shortly after this was discovered, fans were outraged, and they started a movement asking “#WheresRey”. Well, it seems as if Hasbro has heard your cries, because they’ve just sent out a statement that confirms the arrival of Rey in Monopoly: Star Wars. “We love the passion fans have for Rey, and are happy to announce that we will be making a running change to include her in the Monopoly: Star Wars game available later this year.” a spokesperson said to EW. They also revealed that they avoiding adding her character purposely to avoid spoiling plot lines for people. Mainly the plot line that revealed that Rey was a Jedi!
