Spider-Man: Brand New Day Digital/Blu-ray Release Dates And Special Features Revealed — But No Deleted Scenes!

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Digital and 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates have finally been officially announced, along with a full list of special features — but where are the deleted scenes?

While Spider-Man: Brand New Day will swing back into theaters in the not-too-distant future, it's finally been confirmed that the movie will be available on Digital on October 6. A 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release follows on December 15.

A full list of special features has also been revealed, and while there are plenty of featurettes and some outtakes, there are no deleted scenes. Clearly, the plan is to save those for Spider-Man: Brand New Day's re-release.

Still, we have a new clip from one of those featurettes to share with you today, and it's all about Sadie Sink's MCU debut as Jean Grey. In that, the Stranger Things star is finally able to be honest about who she's playing, and we're treated to heaps of behind-the-scenes footage.

Here's a full breakdown of what to expect from the 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and Digital versions of Spider-Man: Brand New Day:

Outtakes

  • Goofs, Gaffes and Gags – Go behind-the-scenes and inside the on-set hi-jinx captured on camera.

Featurettes

  • Tom Holland: The Evolving Spider - Step inside the shoes of Tom Holland as he reveals his many evolving roles in front of and behind the camera while making Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
  • Brand New Direction - Destin Daniel Cretton takes the audience inside his creative process for capturing a more mature Spider-Man that focuses on more complex themes.
  • Secret Sources and Hidden Spider Eggs - Dive deep inside Spider-Man: Brand New Day as secret, hidden references to the Marvel universe and beyond are revealed.
  • Possession! - Step inside the process of inventing and executing the practical, physical performances that realize our villain’s powerful mental abilities on camera.
  • Peter and The Punisher – Tom Holland and Jon Bernthal dive deep into their long-standing off-camera relationship and how it fueled the undeniable on-screen chemistry between Spider-Man and the Punisher.
  • Live-Action Comics – Go behind the scenes and inside Director Destin Daniel Cretton’s labor of love to painstakingly recreate some of the most iconic comic covers and Spider-Man’s lore on camera in live action.
  • Friends and Foes – Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Mark Ruffalo, Jacob Batalon and the all-star cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day take the audience inside the joyous and fun-filled process of the ensemble of actors.
  • Webs, Wires, and Runaway Tanks – World renowned stunt coordinator and action choreographer Peng Zhang details the practical approach to the real-world spider-stunts and action.
  • Scorpions, Ninjas , and the Spider-Suit – The costume department of Spider-Man: Brand New Day reveals the art of designing and realizing the massive cast of costumed characters and reinventing the beloved Spider-Suit.
  • Lost Memories from Set: Camera Roll – Take a look at the memories captured behind the scenes from set.

In Spider-Man: Brand New Day, it's a Brand New Day for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him—and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him—sparks a change in Peter that he may not have the power to control.

But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves - a powerful villain no one can even see. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them.

In our review, we concluded by saying, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day is everything fans could want. Emotional, hilarious, and heartfelt, it’s an action-packed love letter to the comics and one of Spidey’s best big-screen adventures. Spider-Man has never been more amazing."

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently playing in theaters.

@MyCoolYoung - would this be Marvel or Sony being responsible for this?.

I think this is Sony’s area as part of the deal but could be wrong.

Regardless like almost any re-release , it’s a cash grab anyway.

Guessing there are no deleted scenes because they're saving them for DLC releases every December from now until Spider-Man 5!

Sony already planning for another home media release down the line to include more withheld content is pathetic.

Sony did the same with Far From Home and No Way Home too after they all passed 1 billion. Across the SpiderVerse got a re release too....I'm starting to see a pattern with these Sony Spiderman films.

Let’s get real here… Tom Cruise sets the bar when it comes to stunts.

Tom Cruise aggressively pursued Shawn Levy to direct the sequel to Days of Thunder but the latter decided to do Ghost Rider instead.

Man , seeing that stunts featurette made me realize again how well done the action was in this film.

Also Sadie seemed so relieved to finally talk about playing Jean lol but she did a great job and was indeed someone who played the strength aswell as vulnerability of the character well imo…

I also liked how they did her mind/body possession powers practically , those performers killed it!!.

Anyway , can’t wait to see BND again at home since i liked it quite a bit in theaters!!.

This isn't even the first time they've done this - They rereleased No Way Home in 2022 with additional scenes.

I never saw it so I'm not sure what those scenes were, and I don't know if they made it to the physical release.
