Henry Cavill's Manager Suggests That He May Not Be Done Playing SUPERMAN After All

Responding to today's bombshell that Henry Cavill would no longer be portraying The Man of Steel in The DCEU, the actor's manager has send out a Tweet which states that "the cape is still in his closet."

Is there a chance that Henry Cavill has not parted ways with Superman after all?

Despite today's report originating at THR and being backed up by several other trades since, Cavill's manager Dany Garcia has taken to Twitter to clarify the Justice League's actor's status as The Man of Steel while teasing an announcement later on today.

Really, all this means is that Cavill hasn't dropped out of the role yet, and could simply be a placeholder until the studio decides to make his departure official. Then again, perhaps there is still hope that both sides can come to an understanding and he ultimately stays on as Superman.

Hopefully that announcement does come later and we find out for certain, but in the meantime let us know what you think about this whole situation in the comments down below.

UPDATE: Here's that statement, which doesn't really confirm anything one way or the other, but certainly suggest that Cavill is out.
