At the Paley Fest panel for Marvel's
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,
HitFix caught up with head of Marvel television Jeph Loeb and asked about the Netflix series in development that are scheduled to begin with Daredevil, followed by Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage. The four, 13-episode Netflix series will then culminate in an "epic mini-series event" titled Defenders. Loeb revealed that Daredevil will begin shooting this July. Daredevil's pilot episode will be written and directed by Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods). With such a looming start date expect casting news for the
Man Without Fear to heat up very soon.
