Daredevil: Born Again will end with Season 3, a genuine surprise, seeing as we're getting a full-blown Defenders reunion when the series returns next year. Surely, that's the start of bigger and better things for the Man Without Fear and his corner of the MCU?
Only time will tell whether these characters now have a future beyond Daredevil: Born Again's third and final season, but we know Charlie Cox is eager to assemble alongside the Avengers. He and Kingpin actor Vincent D'Onofrio have also repeatedly expressed their desire to share the screen with Spider-Man.
Cox isn't on social media, so it will probably be a while until we hear from him on Daredevil: Born Again's abrupt ending. However, D'Onofrio has now taken to X to share his thoughts on saying goodbye to the series.
"We so enjoyed bringing @Daredevil Born Again to you all," the actor wrote. "You stuck with us and i like to think we stuck with you. We have the final Season, season 3 heading your way next year with some very cool stuff."
"Much love to all who have been supportive. I love that character Fisk. Always will," D'Onofrio continued. "Off to another neck off the woods. Meanwhile... Season 3 is coming!"
D'Onofrio has often taken to social media to clear the air about any misconceptions with Daredevil: Born Again, and frequently interacts with fans. It's not surprising that he's the first to comment on the show ending. However, showrunner Dario Scardapane—who has reportedly been removed from the series during post-production—will be the most interesting person to hear from.
