The Mandalorian hits the small screen tomorrow and excitement is at an all-time high for the first live-action
Star Wars TV series. With Lucasfilm not distributing screeners to critics to avoid spoilers finding their way online, speculation is going into overdrive about what big reveals we can expect in the premiere which launches on Disney+ when the service goes live.
In the meantime, another brief promo for the show has been released and we finally get to hear Taika Waititi's IG-11 speak. However, he says only two very simple words: "The Mandalorian."
While it's only a very brief piece of dialogue, Waititi's character sounds like a droid and it doesn't appear as if he's going to be bringing a similar, comedic tone to this role as he did with Korg in
Thor: Ragnarok (something many fans will more than likely be quite relieved by). Despite that, there's still a very strong chance this character will be used in a humorous fashion.
