Despite Microsoft’s reaffirmation, Halo 5 will not be released this year – according to the voice of Master Chief himself. Steve Downes, voice actor for the Spartan hero, also added fuel to rumors of a Halo 2 Anniversary remake, saying:

“I think you may be ahead of yourself on Halo 5, I wouldn’t expect anything until 2015. What you can look forward to this year is an anniversary edition of Halo 2.”

The Halo Trilogy was the best! Halo 4 could've been better, Hopefully Halo 5 is better...

This is why I found it pointless that people bought the next gen consoles straight away, all the best games are out summer to the end of next year...or next year lol

Well I thought this was already known. I do hope for Halo Anniversary 2 they give the whole game this time. If you are wondering what I mean when Halo 2 came out MS didn't want it delayed and Bungie did. Because there was four or so more levels for the game but if they would still be in the game they would miss the September launch. MS said they can't delay it and that is why the game ends on the famous cliffhanger because it was rushed.

So hopefully they go back and look at the old code and remake that code too. If you don't believe me that Halo 2 was not the full game just go and google it. Having the different Warhogs taken out of the game really is no big deal but the levels that take place after Master Chief jumps into Gravemind is and I would love to see those levels.h

Halo 4 was lame. The antagonist was way under developed, and they manged to raise the stakes again by earth will be destroyed shit, even though we didn't feel the weight of that actually happening, it was like oh yeah earth here is gonna blow, save it at the end. That seemed lazily put together.

Good!!! Halo should always be on a 3 year mininmum realease window. The longer they work on it the better. TitanFall and Halo 2 Anniversary should hold me over till then.

Don't even care about Halo 5. The series is dead to me. They better pull something good.

They can keep Halo 5, 6, 7, however long they want.
Because Halo 2 anniversary will beat all of those.

I hope halo 2 anniversary comes out for Xbox one with hd graphics if it's true that halo 5 won't come this year . I am kinda pumped for Bungie's Destiny though might be the new Halo from the creators of Halo .
