Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is an upcoming action role-playing video game set in The Lord of the Rings universe, being developed by Monolith Productions and due to be released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game will bridge the gap between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings saga and is due for release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One
