Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Part One is about to become much easier to stream in the United States.

Netflix and Hulu have both announced that the blockbuster anime film will begin streaming on September 28. The movie will also be available through Hulu on Disney+.

Infinity Castle Part One had previously only been available to stream in the U.S. through Crunchyroll, while Netflix already carried the film in select Asian markets. But its September 28 arrival brings one of the biggest anime releases ever to two of the largest mainstream streaming platforms in the country.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Part One is the first in a trilogy movies that adapt the final chapters of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga. The story follows  Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps as they're pulled into the Infinity Castle, where the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji and his most powerful demons begins.

After losing his family and watching his younger sister become a demon, Tanjiro Kamado joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge them. The leader of the Twelve Kizuki captures Lady Tamayo after Ubuyashiki’s attempt to stop him fails, plunging Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the Hashira into the demons’ stronghold, the Infinity Castle. Now, they must face off against some of their most powerful foes.

Infinity Castle Part One opened in Japan in July 2025, where it quickly became a box office phenomenon. It had earned more than $250 million in the country and surpassed every previous release in Japanese box office history by the end of its run.

The film experienced similar reception in the United States, where it grossed $70.6 million during its opening weekend. It eventually finished with $136.9 million at the domestic box office.

Its global theatrical run ended with nearly $794 million, setting new records for anime in the process. It became the highest-grossing anime film ever released, the highest-grossing Japanese film worldwide, and the top-performing anime movie in U.S. box office history.

With the first movie now making its way to Netflix and Hulu, the biggest question is what comes next.

Neither Sony nor Crunchyroll has announced an official release date for the second or third films in the Infinity Castle trilogy. Reports have suggested that Part Two could arrive in 2027, followed by Part Three in 2029, but those dates have not been confirmed. Crunchyroll has actually pushed back on reports claiming that a release schedule for the remaining films had already been finalized.
