Mark Wahlberg produces Entourage, an HBO series regarding the making of an Aquaman movie with director James Cameron and now says pressure is building to actually do the film.
Wahlberg told Suicide Girls he's turned down movie roles because he doesn’t want to put on a tights and cape. "Yeah that’s kind of happened before but now...it's crazy. Jim Cameron was joking around saying 'We should really do this thing' and everybody's all like we should do Aquaman together."
In the show, star Vinnie Chase (Adrian Grenier) is playing the film version of Aquaman but almost didn’t because of the ugly costume, according to Movie Hole.
"In 2004, the trades announced that Sunrise Entertainment producers Alan and Peter Riche were working on a big screen adaptation of the DC comic superhero Aquaman with Warner Bros. Pictures. Ben Grant was set to write the script," the site says. Comic writer Peter David has said he's ready to help.
